Boomer: NFL extra point change is "ridiculous"

The big news out of NFL owners meetings in San Francisco was the league's decision to change the rules governing the extra point for the 2015 season, moving the line of scrimmage back to the 15-yard line and keeping the two-point conversion at the two-yard line. While the rule changes are designed to bring some excitement back to the game's most predictable sequence, it remains to be seen whether fans will see a noticeable difference on Sundays. How many coaches will change their tactics with the new incentives? Should the NFL be focusing on more important rule changes? Most importantly, could this change spark the strategic shift that makes Tim Tebow a valuable weapon once again?

SI.com's John DePetro, Chris Burke and Doug Farrar take a closer look at how the new rule will affect the 2015 season in this week's Audibles Podcast.
