Miami Dolphins kicker Caleb Sturgis sustained a quadriceps injury during a recent team-organized kickball game, reports the Miami Herald.

Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin said on Monday that Sturgis would likely miss the remainder of the Dolphins’s organized team activities and minicamp practices this month, keeping him out until training camp.

The Dolphins organized the kickball game as a team-building activity following a recent practice and Sturgis sustained a quad injury to his plant leg, the Herald reports.

Sturgis was also slowed by a groin injury during last year’s preseason before finishing the season 29 of 37 on field goal attempts.

The Dolphins’ other placekicker on the roster is undrafted rookie free agent Andrew Franks.
