The Denver Broncos' training camp will start July 31 at the Paul D. Bowlen Memorial Broncos Centre in Englewood, Colorado. Camp will run through Thursday, Aug. 20.
Last year, Denver won the AFC West for the fourth straight season, earning the AFC's second seed, but lost at home in the AFC divisional playoffs to the Indianapolis Colts. Led by quarterback Peyton Manning, who threw for 4,727 yards and 39 touchdowns, and wideout Demaryius Thomas and his 111 catches for 1,619 yards, Denver was second in the NFL in points, averaging 30.1 points a game. The team ranked fourth in total offense.
The team signed tight end Owen Daniels after losing Jacob Tamme and Julius Thomas. Denver must also deal with the losses of nose tackle Terrance Knighton, safety Rahim Moore and wide receiver Wes Welker.
