The Texans will begin this year's training camp on Aug. 1 at Methodist Training Center in Houston. Camp will run through Aug. 25 and feature six practices open to the public.
The Texans finished last season 9-7 and in second in the AFC South behind the Indianapolis Colts.
Houston signed free agent nose tackle Vince Wilfork, quarterback Brian Hoyer and safety Rahim Moore in the off-season. Longtime wide receiver Andre Johnson and both starting safeties—Kendrick Lewis and D.J. Swearinger—left the team. SI.com's Chris Burke gave the Texans a B+ for their off-season report card.
The Texans are appearing on this season's version of HBO's Hard Knocks.
