The Tennessee Titans will begin training camp on July 31 at the Saint Thomas Sports Park in Nashville, Tenn. Camp will wrap up on Aug. 21, two days before the Titans' second preseason game, against the St. Louis Rams

With a little more than a week to spare before the start of camp, the Titans signed Marcus Mariota, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft. The Heisman trophy winner out of the University of Oregon is the presumed starter, taking over for a quarterback-by-committee system that had Charlie Whitehurst, Zach Mettenburger and Jake Locker all taking snaps in 2014. 

Last year's team finished with a 2-14 record. Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt in entering his second season with the team. 

The Titans also got a major new addition on the defensive side of the ball: Dick LeBeau, the former Pittsburgh Steeler defensive coordinator, who is taking over as the assistant head coach/defense. The famed defensive mind will be in charge Tennessee's 3-4 scheme. Last year, the Titans finished 27th in total defense and allowed more than 27 points and 373 yards per game.

Friday, August 28: Preseason Game at Kansas City Chiefs (Arrowhead Stadium) 7 p.m.

Thursday, September 3: Preseason Game vs. Minnesota Vikings (LP Field) 7 p.m.

Tickets:

Tickets are free for all attending practice. Gates to the practice field typically open 15 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled practice. With limited bleacher seating, fans should be prepared to stand.
