NFL fans were treated with the first taste of football over the weekend, as the Steelers and the Vikings squared off in the Hall of Fame game on Sun., Aug. 9. But the full preseason slate kicks off in earnest on Aug. 13, and we couldn't be more ready.

On this week's episode of the Audibles podcast, SI.com's Ben Eagle, Chris Burke and Doug Farrar give their not-so-quick thoughts on the Hall of Fame game (Eagle, in particular, is not a fan), and they discuss the rookies, veterans and units they're itching to watch this preseason. Farrar also elaborates on why he think the Denver Broncos might be one of the most fascinating teams to watch over the next four weeks.

Burke and Farrar also debate over whether or not there's a magic number of games to accurately assess a quarterback's abilities, answer your mailbag questions and much more.
