Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans participated in practice Wednesday, reports Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times

This is Evans first activity since being shut down after Tampa Bay's second preseason game with a hamstring injury.

Evans was a major part of the Buccaneers' offense in 2014 as a rookie, catching 68 passes for 1,051 yards and 12 touchdowns. The 12 touchdowns is a franchise record.

Evans was taken in the first round by the Buccaneers in the 2014 draft after being named a Consensus All-American at Texas A&M.
