After a discouraging 27–14 loss to Buffalo to start the season, the Indianapolis Colts look to get in the win column against the New York Jets on Monday Night Football.

In Week 1, the Colts had three turnovers, with two of them coming in the form of Andrew Luck interceptions. Luck finished 26-of-46 with 243 yards and two touchdowns against the Bills. New Colts Andre Johnson and Frank Gore had mediocre debuts for Indianapolis, with Johnson catching just four passes for 24 yards and Gore totaling eight rushes for 31 yards.

The Jets defeated the Browns 31–10 in Week 1 behind quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick's 179 yards and two touchdowns in his first game with New York. Running back Chris Ivory ran for 91 yards and two touchdowns, while newcomer Brandon Marshall had 62 yards receiving and one touchdown.

New York has won its last two matchups with Indianapolis, with its last victory against the Colts coming in 2012. In the 35–9 win, the Jets sacked Luck four times and intercepted him twice.
