Former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Terrelle Pryor worked out for the New York Jets on Tuesday.

According to a report by Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot, Pryor posted marks of 4.2 and 4.3 seconds in the 40-yard dash on Tuesday.

Pryor, 26, has been signed and released by three different NFL teams this year. He signed a one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs as a quarterback in the offseason, but was subsequently released on May 5.

Pryor then signed with the Cincinnati Bengals five days later, but was later released on June 18.

The 2010 Rose Bowl MVP made the switch from quarterback to wide receiver after he was claimed off waivers by the Browns over the summer. Pryor made the 53-man roster, but was ultimately cut by Cleveland on Sept. 10.

In his NFL career as a quarterback, Pryor had 1,953 yards passing with nine touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 10 starts over 15 games played.

The 2008 Big Ten Freshman of the Year was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 2011 supplemental draft out of Ohio State.
