Giants running back Rashad Jennings made an impact on special teams early in Thursday's game against the Redskins, blocking a punt on Washington's first drive of the game.

Jennings simply overpowered Terrance Plummer on the left side of the line, driving him back and getting a hand square on the ball, which flew out the corner of the end zone for a safety.

Jennings is also the Giants's starting running back, and had two carries for five yards on New York's first drive.
