The undefeated Panthers travel to division rival Tampa Bay looking to enter their bye week with a spotless 4–0 mark. An energized Cam Newton and a tough defense have catapulted Carolina to the top of the NFC South. The Bucs, with rookie quarterback Jameis Winston at the helm, have had mixed results thus far but will hope a healthier Mike Evans will make life easier for the offense. Carolina will go in the favorites, with new addition Jared Allen joining at defensive end from the Bears via trade. Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly’s status remains uncertain after he sustained a concussion in Week 1 against Jacksonville.
