Seattle Seahawks star running back Marshawn Lynch is officially listed as active and will play Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers.
Lynch is making his first game appearance since suffering a hamstring injury Week 3 against the Chicago Bears. The veteran has looked good in practice this week and is not expected to have any restrictions.
Before suffering the injury, Lynch was not as effective as usual to begin the season, rushing for 114 yards on 33 carries over the first two games.
Lynch rushed for 1306 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2014 on his way to being named to his fifth Pro Bowl team.
Rookie running back Thomas Rawls has stepped up in Lynch’s absence and played solidly. He has 326 yards and one touchdown, averaging 5.6 yards a carry.
