Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans caught his first touchdown pass of the season Sunday.
Evans caught a 40-yard pass down the left sideline off a perfectly thrown ball from first-round pick Jameis Winston. The touchdown was the kind of connection Buccaneers fans hoped for when Tampa Bay drafted Winston with the No. 1 pick earlier this year.
Evans finished the game with eight catches for 164 yards and the touchdown but Washington completed a second-half comeback and won 31–30.
