Giants CB Prince Amukamara will have an MRI next Monday on his injured pectoral muscle, reports Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News. He hopes to be cleared to practice afterwards.

Amukamara has already been ruled out of Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, along with teammates WR Victor Cruz, OT Will Beatty and DE Jason Pierre-Paul.

The fifth-year Nebraska product has not played since Week 5, when he suffered a partial tear to his pectoral muscle during a win against the San Francisco 49ers. In the two games since, the Giants have given up 888 yards to opposing offenses.

The Giants currently sit alone atop the NFC East with a 4-3 record.
