The St Louis Rams (3–3) play host to the San Francisco 49ers (2–5) at the Edward Jones Dome on Sunday.

The Rams come into the game having beaten the Cleveland Browns, 24–6, last week. Rookie running back Todd Gurley continued to impress, carrying the ball 19 times for 128 yards and two touchdowns. The Rams defense forced the Browns to commit four turnovers, including a 20-yard fumble return touchdown by safety Rodney McLeod. Quarterback Nick Foles finished 15 for 23 passing with 163 yards.

The 49ers continued their poor season last Thursday, failing to score a touchdown in a game for the second time this season. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick completed just 13 passes for 124 yards. Running back Carlos Hyde, who was playing on a stress fracture in his foot, carried the ball 11 times for 40 yards. In total, the 49ers produced 142 yards on offense, compared to 388 yards of offense from the Seahawks.
