Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins is excited to face New York Jets defensive back Darrelle Revis this Thursday, but he expects the six-time Pro Bowler to present the toughest test of the season.

“I look forward to it,” Watkins said, according toThe Buffalo News. “I understand it’s going to be a hard matchup. He’s going to be shadowing me probably everywhere. As a top receiver — as a receiver who wants to be noticed as a top receiver — you definitely want to go against those type of guys. I know it’s going to probably be the hardest challenge of my career, season, every year.”

Watkins, who was selected by the Bills with the fourth pick of the 2014 NFL draft, has been seeking opportunities to stand out all year. He publicly called for more targets from quarterback Tyrod Taylor after Week 5. Last week, he caught eight passes on eight targets for 168 yards and a touchdown in Buffalo’s win over the Miami Dolphins.

Watkins has faced Revis twice in his two-season career, both in losses to the New England Patriots last season. On Thursday, Watkins will get his rematch against Revis when the Jets (5–3) host the Bills (4–4) at MetLife Stadium at 8:25 p.m. ET.
