Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler will make another start under center on Sunday against the New England Patriots, coach Gary Kubiak said Monday.

Osweiler made his first career start in a 17–15 win over the Bears in Week 11, filling in for injured quarterback Peyton Manning. Osweiler completed 20 of 27 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns.

Manning, who’s been dealing with a torn plantar fascia in his left foot, started in Week 10, but was pulled after throwing four interceptions. He is currently in Charlotte getting a second opinion on the injury, Kubiak said.

KING: Osweiler’s game creating difficult situation for Denver

Sunday night would have been the 17th time that Manning and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had played each other.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET.
