New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola out vs. Broncos
New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola will not play against the Denver Broncos.
New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola will not play against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, the team announced.
Amendola was listed as questionable with a knee injury during the week, but he did not make the trip to Denver with the team, according to the reports. The Patriots will also be without receiver Julian Edelman, who has a broken foot.
Amendola has 49 catches for 520 yards and two touchdowns so far this season. He played in all 16 games for the Patriots in 2014.
Brock Osweiler will start in place of Peyton Manning at quarterback for the Broncos, who will be looking to derail New England’s bid for a perfect regular season.
Linebacker Jamie Collins and tight end Michael Williams were also ruled out for New England.
