• There is still no timeline for the return of Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, reports Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post. Manning is recovering from the partially torn left plantar fascia he sustained against the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 8.

• Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski could miss “multiple weeks” with a knee injury he sustained in his team’s loss to the Broncos, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham will miss the remainder of the season with the torn patellar tendon he sustained against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to head coach Pete Carroll.

• The Miami Dolphinsfired offensive coordinator Bill Lazor. Quarterbacks coach Zac Taylor will take over offensive play-calling duties.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger sustained a concussion in his team’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks, reports ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown could miss the remainder of the season with a collarbone injury, reports Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.

• Arizona Cardinals running back Chris Johnson will miss “extended time” with a fractured tibia, reports Jay Glazer of Fox Sports.

• The Carolina Panthers announced they have signed cornerback Cortland Finnegan.

• Dolphins wide receiver Rishard Matthews sustained multiple broken ribs in Miami’s loss to the New York Jets, reports Rand Getlin of NFL Media. There is no timetable for his return.
