Oakland Raiders extend WR Michael Crabtree for four seasons
Thursday December 10th, 2015

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Michael Crabtree has agreed to a contract extension, according to multiple reports.

Adam Caplan of ESPN first reported the news. NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported the terms of the deal, a four-year extension worth almost $35 million, with nearly $19 million in guaranteed money.

Crabtree, 28, has been working on a one-year, 3.2 million deal and emerged as a go-to target for young quarterback Derek Carr. Along with rookie Amari Cooper, Crabtree has helped give Oakland its most potent passing attack in years. He is on pace for career-bests in receptions and touchdowns, with 760 yards, 66 catches and seven scores through 12 games.

The former 49ers receiver has put together his best season since 2012 after an injury-plagued 2013 and disappointing 2014 campaign.
