Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman continues to trash talk opponents despite being fined for his altercations on Sunday with New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

On Wednesday, he responded to comments from Falcons' receiver Roddy White, according to Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer.

“I think he’s their fifth wide receiver behind the tight ends and running backs,” Norman said. “I think he has one reception for a touchdown this year.”

On Tuesday, White questioned Norman's toughness on the field.

“I don't believe he's a tough guy,” White told ESPN. “When you say you're out there talking, I don't pay attention to guys like that. I just don't think he's a tough guy.”

White has the fourth-most receptions on the Falcons with his 37 catches for 429 yards and one touchdown on the season.

On Sunday, Norman and Beckham were involved in a number of physical altercations, which led to Beckham earning three personal fouls and Norman being flagged twice for unnecessary roughness. The most egregious offense came in the third quarter when Beckham smashed his helmet into Norman’s, and Norman responded by kneeing Beckham in the head after he had fallen to the ground.

The NFL suspended Beckham one game for his actions against the Panthers, citing “multiple violations of safety-related playing rules.” Beckham’s has appealed the suspenion. Norman was reportedly fined $8,681 for a face mask and $17,363 for striking Beckham in the head area. Norman has appealed both of the fines.
