Indianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is on a liquid diet after sustaining a jaw injury during Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans, reports Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star.

Hasselbeck had been dealing with neck, back and rib injuries before the jaw injury briefly knocked him out of the 16–10 loss to the Texans.

Keefer reports Hasselbeck has been icing his jaw daily and has been able to eat only foods like yogurt and oatmeal, though he hopes to eat solid foods on Thursday.

With Andrew Luckruled out of Sunday’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins, third-string quarterback Charlie Whitehurst could be called on to fill in for Hasselbeck if he is not able to play.

The Colts (6–8) and the Dolphins (5–9) will kick off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at Sun Life Stadium.
