Brian Hoyer’s playoff debut did not go very smoothly.
Hoyer completed 7–14 passes for 61 yards in the half as the Texans struggled to put together a drive against a tough Chiefs defense.

A little later, there was this interception.
Hoyer would throw one more interception in the second half on the way to a 30–0 loss.
Texans head coach Bill O’Brien said after the game that he never considered benching Hoyer, who finished with a line of 15–34 passing for 136 yards and four interceptions.
O'Brien on removing Hoyer: "I did not consider that. I felt like sticking with him was the right thing to do."— Houston Texans (@HoustonTexans) January 10, 2016
