The Philadelphia Eagles are set to interview former Giants coach Tom Coughlin on Monday for their head coaching vacancy, according to NFL.coms Ian Rapoport.

Coughlin stepped down on Monday after 12 seasons as Giants coach after the team endured a third straight losing season, and missed out on the postseason for the fourth time since 2011. He finished with a combined 102–90 record.

On Tuesday, Giants owner John Mara told reporters that he asked Coughlin to remain with the Giants “in some capacity,” which he was mulling over. That news came on the heels of reports that the 69-year-old would be open to taking another coaching job.

The Eagles fired head coach Chip Kelly on Dec. 29 after falling out of contention for the NFC East division title and going 6–9 through 15 games.
