Clete Blakeman will be the head referee for Super Bowl 50, reports Footballzebras.com.

Blakeman officiated the overtime divisional playoff game between the Packers and Cardinals on Saturday and has worked three wild card games and two divisional playoff games in his career. He has yet to referee a Super Bowl. Blakeman has worked as an NFL official for eight seasons.

Blakeman’s crew for the game reportedly includes Jeff Rice, Boris Cheek and Keith Ferguson, who have worked four Super Bowls among them. Also on the crew will be Wayne Mackie, Rusty Baynes and Scott Edwards.

Super Bowl officials are ranked in the top tier of referees by vice president of officiating Dean Blandino, who has an undisclosed formula for evaluating them.
