Robert Kraft’s Patriots didn’t make it to Super Bowl 50, but the New England owner reminded everyone that his team remains one of the winningest teams in Super Bowl history during an interview with WCVB-TV on Wednesday.

Kraft and quarterback Tom Brady attended Super Bowl 50, where Kraft said he saw Denver quarterback Peyton Manning’s father.

“I happened to see Archie [Manning] there,” Kraft said. “He has two sons who have won two Super Bowls [each]. But with all due respect, we have one son who has won four.”

With the Broncos’ 24–10 victory over the Carolina Panthers, Peyton Manning earned his second Super Bowl championship, the first coming with the Colts in 2006. His brother Eli has won two titles with the New York Giants in 2007 and 2011.

The Patriots franchise is tied for third-most Super Bowl wins with four, and Brady has been under center for all four of those championships.

New England failed to earn a chance at winning Brady a fifth Super Bowl ring when the Broncos knocked them out of the playoffs with a 20–18 victory in the AFC Championship Game.
