The New England Patriots have reached an agreement on a three-year deal with former Chicago bears linebacker Shea McClellin, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

McClellin, 26, has started 31 games in four seasons with the Bears.

He also visited the Seattle Seahawks.

The deal with McClellin comes just hours after the Patriots completed a trade with the Bears for tight end Martellus Bennett.
