NFL draft prospect Shaq Lawson will have his shoulder re-examined by league doctors, reports NFL.com’s Albert Breer.
Lawson’s shoulder was “flagged” at the scouting combine and he will return to Indianapolis for further medical examination, according to the report.
Lawson ran a 4.7-second 40-yard dash and a 4.21-second 20-yard shuttle at the combine in February. However, he chose not to participate in the bench press drill in front of scouts.
In his senior season at Clemson, Lawson played in 15 games, recording 12 1/2 sacks. He is seen as a potential first-round pick for April’s draft.
