The Detroit Lions have signed cornerback Darrin Walls, the team announced Tuesday.

The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Walls, 27, played in 13 games for the New York Jets last season, registering 10 tackles and three pass breakups. In his five NFL seasons, Walls has accumulated 75 tackles and three interceptions. He played his first season in the league with the Atlanta Falcons, and the last four with the Jets.

Walls went undrafted out of Notre Dame​ in 2011 before signing with the Falcons.
