New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan has not yet been cleared for organized team activities as he continues to recover from the back surgery he underwent this off-season, according toThe New Orleans Advocate.

Jordan underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his back before the Pro Bowl after playing through the injury for most of the season. He was not expected to miss much time after the surgery, but will not be able to join the team when it begins OTAs this week.

“I’m feeling better every day,” Jordan said. “(It’s hard) when you’re supposed to take it down to a slow pace because your inner athlete wants to show out all the time. Still working up to (being full), sadly. As anybody knows once you get injured, you have to go through some rehab time. I’m still—quote, unquote—working up to it.”
