Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald isn’t focused on whether 2016 could be his 13th and final season.

“Honestly, I have no idea,” Fitzgerald said when asked if he could be hanging up his cleats soon. “I really don’t look at it like that.”

The veteran was selected by the Cardinals in the first around of the 2004 NFL draft and has remained with Arizona throughout his entire career. Fitzgerald has recorded 1,018 receptions for 13,366 yards and 98 touchdowns during his time with the Cardinals, recording 109 receptions for 1,215 yards and nine touchdowns last season.

Last month, Fitzgerald told ArizonaSports.com that his NFL future could be linked to quarterback Carson Palmer.

“A lot of it’s tied to Carson [Palmer] — Carson’s playing at a high level. I don’t want to go through any other quarterback situations. It’s been great to have the stability that we have now with the big fella, he’s been playing light’s out.”
