Antonio Brown believes his participation on Dancing with the Stars helped his footwork on the field.

Brown took the field for his first Steelers off-season workout Thursday and told the NFL Network he felt a difference.

"I don't want to say it made me faster, but I feel like it has helped me a lot with my shock absorbers," he said. "I've been able to drop my hips and get on the ball of my foot."

Brown said he felt good running routes and that the transition was moving normally. He and Broncos linebacker Von Miller participated in the ballroom dancing competition series on ABC. Brown made it to the semifinals.

Last season, Brown caught 136 passes for 1,834 yards and 10 touchdowns.
