Safety Roman Harper is re-signing with the New Orleans Saints, according to his representatives at SportsTrust Advisors.

Harper, who previously played with the team from 2006–13, spent the last two seasons with the Carolina Panthers, helping the team reach the Super Bowl this past season.

In Harper’s eight seasons in New Orleans, he amassed 529 tackles, with 54 pass breakups, 15 forced fumbles, 17 sacks and seven interceptions. The two-time Pro Bowler, now 33, was a Super Bowl champion with the Saints in 2009.

He has accumulated 790 tackles in his 10 NFL seasons, posting a career-best 115 while with New Orleans in 2012.
