Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Senquez Golson could miss up to 12 weeks after sustaining a lisfranc injury on Monday, reports Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Network.

Golson suffered the injury to his foot in just the second padded practice of Steelers training camp. He has struggled to stay on the field in 2016, missing much of the spring with a hamstring injury.

Golson, who was drafted in the second round of the 2015 NFL draft, missed his entire rookie season after undergoing shoulder surgery.

Before the injury, Golson had be getting first team reps as a slot corner.

The reported timeframe for his recovery would put Golson on track to return for Pittsburgh’s Week 9 game against the Baltimore Ravens
