Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor was arrested on suspicion of DUI in Florida on Friday.
The Palm Beach Post reports Taylor was arrested following a crash on the Florida turnpike at around 5:20 p.m. He attempted to switch lanes and sideswiped a patrol car. He was taken to Palm Beach County Jail.
Taylor, 57, played 13 seasons with the New York Giants, including Super Bowl wins in 1987 and 1991. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1999.
Taylor has a history of legal troubles, including a sexual misconduct for patronizing a prostitute who was underage. He pleaded guilty and received six years’ probation.
