The Baltimore Ravens have re-signed veteran running back Justin Forsett, just days after releasing him over the weekend.

Forsett, 30, was among the final roster cuts on Saturday as teams were required to reduce their squads to the 53-man limit.

Forsett was set to make $3 million in 2016, but the team did not release any contract details when they brought Forsett back. He is expected to share the load at running back with Terrance West and Javorius Allen, the only two running backs on the roster.

Forsett rushed for a career-high 1,266 yards in 2014 and added another 641 yards last season before he was sidelined in November with a broken arm.

In seven NFL seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars and Ravens, Forsett has 3,599 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns.
