NFL odds: Streaking Giants favored over Bengals on Monday Night Football

Will the Bengals stop the Giants' winning streak at three? The latest lines and odds for Week 10's Monday Night Football clash in the Meadowlands.

Two teams that took part in the NFL's International Series within the past month will meet at MetLife Stadium on Monday night when the Giants (5–3) host the Bengals (3-4-1) as two-point home favorites at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The Giants are riding a three-game winning streak, including a 17–10 victory over Rams at Twickenham Stadium in London in Week 7. The Bengals are coming off their bye, which followed a 27–27 tie with the Redskins at Wembley Stadium in Week 8. They blew a 20–10 third-quarter lead versus the Redskins and actually trailed 24–20 early in the fourth before forcing overtime.

Cincinnati’s only win since Week 4 came against the winless Browns, making this game crucial for the Bengals’ momentum and playoff hopes in a tight AFC North race in which they trail the Steelers and Ravens.

The bad news for the Bengals is that the road team has lost the past seven meetings in the series with the Giants dating back to 1985, according to the OddsShark NFL Database.

Four of the previous six games between the teams have been decided by three points or less, and this matchup could well come down to a field goal as well. Robbie Gould has attempted only one field goal for the Giants since he was signed as a replacement for Josh Brown, who was released following a domestic violence investigation. Gould connected on a 29-yarder in London and has gone 6-for-6 on extra-point attempts in his two games for the Giants. Cincinnati’s Mike Nugent has made 17 of 18 PATs but missed five of 19 field-goal attempts, all from 40 yards or more.

NFL picks: Can Seahawks solidify status as contenders vs. Patriots in Week 10?

The Giants have struggled in Monday night appearances recently, going 1–4 straight up and against the spread on the NFL betting lines. They lost to the Vikings 24–10 as 3.5-point road underdogs in their other Monday Night Football appearance this year.

The Bengals are 0-8-1 in their last nine games against teams with winning records, and they have also failed to cover the spread in three of their previous four games versus NFC East foes.
