The Bills are likely to fire head coach Rex Ryan, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports. “Ryan is probably approaching his final games” Schefter adds.

Ryan is in his second season with Buffalo and led the team to an 8–8 record last year. The Bills are 6–7 this season, heading into Sunday’s home game against the winless Browns.

CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora reported last week that Ryan was not expected to return to the Bills next season, citing Ryan’s relationship with general manager Doug Whaley. Whaley, who has been Buffalo’s GM since 2010 and signed a three-year contract extension in January, is expected to remain with the team, Schefter reports.

Ryan has three years remaining on his contract.
