Monday night's Jets-Giants preseason game did not, after a two-day delay caused by Hurricane Irene, turn out to be worth the wait. It was a sloppy contest with 16 combined penalties and just 20 total points -- the Jets won, 17-3, scoring 10 in the fourth quarter after both team's starters had departed.

But Giants running back Brandon Jacobs and Jets defensive end Muhammed Wilkerson did what they could to liven up the proceedings. The two were ejected midway through the third quarter after engaging in a post-play scuffle.

Here's the proof:

As far as fights go, nothing there was all that brutal. But we've seen a couple little mix-ups over the past few days -- including Ndamukong Suh's much-talked about run-in with Logan Mankins in Detroit's win over New England. It's probably a fair bet that these guys are all just getting overanxious for the regular season to begin, following a long and frustrating offseason.
