The St. Louis Rams have completed a trade with the Buffalo Bills to move up to the No. 8 slot in the NFL Draft. The Rams selected West Virginia wide receiver Tavon Austin with the pick.
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports that in return, the Bills received the Rams' first-round pick, as well as a second-round pick. The teams swapped a third-round pick, and Buffalo also received a seventh-round pick in the deal.
There was speculation that the New York Jets were targeting Austin with the ninth pick, prompting the Rams to leapfrog the Jets to get Austin.
