Reggie Bush dazzles Chicago's defense with 37-yard touchdown run

After a week out of the lineup due to a knee injury, Reggie Bush churned out 139 yards on 18 carries in Detroit's win over Chicago on Sunday. Thirty-seven of those yards came on a vintage Bush run.

Bush burst through a huge hole at the line -- a repeated problem for Chicago through two quarters -- cut right, hopped over a diving defender and then turned on the jets to reach the end zone.

Bush's only other touchdown for the Lions so far this season came on a similarly explosive play. In Detroit's season-opening win over the Vikings, Bush took a middle screen from Matthew Stafford and jetted home untouched from 77 yards out.

The Lions were without Bush's services last Sunday in Washington, where backup Joique Bell stepped into a starring role. Bush said after that game that he sat out as a precaution and guaranteed he would be back on the field for the critical NFC North matchup with the Bears.

Detroit turned to him early and often in the first half Sunday, too. Bush carried the ball on the Lions' first two plays, and later also reeled in four catches.

None of those touches matched his TD run, though -- Bush's first score on the ground since Week 16 of the 2012 season, when he played for Miami.
