Adrian Peterson blows Cowboys defense up with ridiculous touchdown run

There's been a lot of talk about the lack of carries given to Minnesota Vikings halfback Adrian Peterson, and for good reason -- the Vikings' best player had a total of 36 carries in his team's last three games, all losses, and all with horrible quarterback play. The quarterback play issue didn't really resolve itself when the Vikings faced the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, though starter Christian Ponder did manage to get a few good plays in against Dallas' subpar pass defense. However, head coach Leslie Frazier and offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave finally got wise, handing the rock to Peterson far more often.

With 5:49 left in the game, and with Dallas leading 20-17, the Vikings were rewarded with an absolutely preposterous 11-yard touchdown run from their main man.

We're not really surprised by anything Peterson does on the field at this point, but that's impressive, even for him. Kudos to his teammates for helping out, as well.
