Pete Carroll is not one to stand on convention, no matter how big the moment is.
So, when Carroll's Seattle Seahawks faced a 4th-and-7 at the San Francisco 35-yard line, the original idea was for Seattle kicker Steven Hauschka to boot a field goal.
But Carroll called timeout and decided to send his offense back out on the field. It was a good decision, as quarterback Russell Wilson threw a 35-yard laser to receiver Jermaine Kearse for a simply amazing touchdown.

The touchdown gave the Seahawks their first lead of the game at 20-17. Seattle would later add a field goal, and hold on for a 23-17 victory.
