2014 NFL draft: Aaron Rodgers says he's a fan of Johnny Manziel
While the NFL free agency period is receiving most of the attention around the league, teams are still keeping an eye on the 2014 NFL draft in May.
One of the most controversial draft prospects in the 2014 class is Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, but he has been receiving praise from current and former NFL players.
The latest player to back up Manziel is Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who complimented the way that Johnny Football performs on and off the field during an appearance on Jim Rome on Showtime. While many criticize Manziel for the way he handles himself off the field, Rodgers applauds the young man for simply enjoying life.
Rodgers said the best trait that Manziel possesses is his confidence and mental toughness, which Rodgers believes is the most important key to success at the next level.

Manziel is expected to be taken near the top of the draft, a worthwhile investment if Manziel can make good on his potential. Of course, they will just need Johnny Football to keep his head on straight and focus on bettering himself as a football player.
