Adam Muema, running back who left combine early, says he's done playing football

San Diego State running back Adam Muema has been an interesting prospect to follow the past few weeks, after he abruptly left the NFL scouting combine claiming that God told him he would play for the Seattle Seahawks if he chose not to work out.

After leaving the combine, Muema went AWOL before resurfacing in an airport where he had been staying for a few days.

Since then, Muema has been taking to social media to discuss his belief in "Lord Ray-El," a figure on Twitter that claims to be the second coming of Christ.

Now, in the latest bizarre twist of the Muema story, the running back prospect has tweeted out that he is done playing football and he does not have any plans to continue his career at the next level.

His decision came after a conversation he had with a man named "Angelus Domini."

Muema would likely not have been drafted given his erratic actions over the past few weeks, and this latest message is the icing on the cake.

Muema had the talent to be a late-round pick and serve as a backup running back in the NFL, but he likely squandered any chances he had of a professional career with his off-the-wall behavior.
