The wide receiver market is starting to heat up, and Hakeem Nicks is beginning to line up his visits as he gets one step closer to finding a new home for the 2014 season.
Nicks had previously stated that he would like to play with Cam Newton, Andrew Luck or Philip Rivers, and he will get one step closer to his wish on Friday when he flies out to Indianapolis to meet with the Colts.
"I'm flying to Indy tonight [Thursday]. The plan is to meet with the Colts tomorrow," Nicks told Josina Anderson of ESPN.
With Reggie Wayne holding down one of the starting spots in Indianapolis and T.Y. Hilton becoming a real threat moving around the offensive formations, Nicks could provide Luck with another impressive target, creating mismatches for opposing secondaries.

At just 26 years old, Nicks still has plenty of football ahead of him and he could be groomed as the eventual successor for Wayne.
While the initial visit with the Colts could make Indianapolis the favorites to land Nicks, they will have some stiff competition from the Carolina Panthers
who recently released veteran Steve Smith and have identified Nicks as a top target.
