Michael Vick remains Jets' top QB target
On Wednesday, news surfaced that free agent quarterback Michael Vick was willing to wait until after the 2014 NFL draft to sign with a new team, but that hasn't turned off any potential suitors, and one team remains very much in the mix for the veteran signal-caller.
According to the New York Post, Vick remains the Jets top choice at quarterback and they are willing to wait until he is ready to agree on a deal.
Vick has some familiarity with Jets offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg from his time with the Philadelphia Eagles, so the two should have a connection that allows Vick to immediately have a grasp of the offense.Geno Smith, given his struggles at times in 2013. Vick wants a chance to start in 2014, so signing with the Jets may give him the best opportunity.
