Free agent kick returner Devin Hester is still on the open market and he has generated plenty of interest around the league. Unfortunately, it appears that his asking price is too high for any team to currently reach an agreement.

According to, Hester is currently seeking a contract that will pay him $4 million per year.

For a man who is primarily a kick returner and unable to contribute on offense, a $4 million asking price is far too high. He will likely need to adjust his desires if he plans to find a new home -- especially as a 31 year old.

The teams currently interested in Hester are the Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers. Green Bay is one of the most interested teams, as they search for a return specialist that can relieve Randall Cobb of his current duties and allow him to keep his attention on contributing as an offensive threat.
