To be a successful professional athlete, you have to truly believe that you can be the best at your discipline or craft. That self-confidence can go a long way, especially when it comes to the quarterback position in the NFL.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson raised plenty of skeptical questions when he entered the league. Many thought that he wasn't tall enough or that he didn't have a strong enough arm, but he proved the doubters wrong when he helped lead his team to a Super Bowl title this year.
Now, Wilson understands that he has a chance to continue his impressive career with a competitive team on a run could lead to him going down as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game.

“Why can’t I be the best quarterback to ever play the game one day?’ Wilson told ESPN. “I’m not right now. I’ve got a long way to go. But one day, you know?”
Wilson is just 25 years old and currently on a team that has the makings of a dynasty.
The defense in Seattle gets a lot of the credit and attention, so Wilson will have to really step up his play to grab the attention of the media, but he is well on his way to a career that would prove all of the skeptics wrong.
