After multiple off-field incidents, including the most recent where he was stabbed in the leg by his brother, troubled wide receiver Mike Williams has been traded by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team made a deal with the Buffalo Bills on Friday morning in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2014 Draft. The trade is pending Williams passing a physical.

James Walker of ESPN.com first reported the news.

Williams is a Buffalo native and played one season at Syracuse under current Bills head coach Doug Marrone. In that season, Williams had 49 catches, 746 yards and six touchdowns before quitting the team after just seven games.

Many believe the move will now put Clemson wideout Sammy Watkins and Texas A&M's Mike Evans as the favorites to land in Tampa Bay with the No. 7 overall pick in the draft. Either receiver would be a good No. 2 receiver opposite Vincent Jackson.

As for the Bills, who now have Williams, Stevie JohnsonT.J. GrahamMarquise Goodwin and Robert Woods, their receiving corp is drastically improved.
